The QFR001 was the first complete racing car entered to the Formula Student competition. Even with this, the team were placed 2nd in Europe and 8th overall.

Chassis: Tubular space frame chassis; Mild steel chassis; 4130 alloy steel roll hoop

Brakes: Twin outboard front discs; Single inboard rear discs; AP Racing 4 pot callipers; Adjustable brake bias

Suspension: Double unequal length wishbone suspension; Inboard adjustable coilover dampers

Engine: Yamaha YZFR6 600cc; Yamaha carburettors wit restrictor plate; Maximum Power: 59bhp

Drivetrain: Torson limited slip differential
