Perkins Sponsorship Deal

QFR are pleased to announce a sponsorship deal with Perkins. For more than 75 years Perkins Engines Company Limited has manufactured diesel engines and power solutions with the highest levels of performance and reliability. QFR would like to thank Perkins for their continued sponsorship of the QFR team and look forward to working with them throughout the year.

Sponsor Events

The QFR team have been busy over the last few weeks with university open days and sponsor events at which the car was greatly received by all. QFR would like to thank those who took part in and helped organise these events.

Seeing Double

QFR 09 has secured provisional funding for a two car team this year. The team will be entering a Class 1 entry as normal and will re-enter the 08 car as a Class 1 200 for second year cars. This year will see the introduction of a front carbon fibre chassis on the 09 car as the result of research and development projects carried out last year.
