Rear Subframe Machining Complete

The 2007 QFR rear subframe machining has just been completed in the QFR workshop. This is the second generation of our innovative flat plate design which attracted great attention from the judges at last year's competition. The new design is twice as stiff as last years with no weight penalty thanks to weeks of intensive computer analysis and is sure to stand us well
at this year's event. Have a look at the pictures in the gallery.

QFR Attracts Major New Sponsor!

QFR are pleased to announce a new partnership for 2007 with The Friends of The Queen's University of Belfast, Inc. This group was established in 1999 to help generate financial support for the University. The Board of the Friends' is made up of individuals, mostly Queen's graduates, from across America and Canada. With their assistance and that of all our sponsors we look forward to a great result at Silverstone this summer!

SJ McAuley Continue Sponsorship!

QFR's Commercial Team visited SJ McAuley Engineering today along with the successful 2006 car. This was a great opportunity for everyone there to see what last year's sponsorship went towards and some got the chance to sit in the driver's seat and listen to the impressive Yamaha R6 motorcycle engine. (Pictures in the gallery). SJ McAuley Engineering have also generously decided to continue their sponsorship of QFR supplying us with sets of tyres required for this year's competition at Silverstone. We are very grateful to them and all our sponsors for their contribution to what we believe will be a successful competition for QFR!
